Father Karel is the first monk to combine formal brewing training with generations of brewing knowledge from the abbey.
It combines centuries of brewing heritage at the abbey with the modern techniques of brewmaster Marc-Antoine Sochon to revive the brewing tradition at Grimbergen Abbey and continue the legacy of generations of monks who have preceded him.
